Dungerness is a unique and desolate landscape, on the southern most  point of Britain. The largest area of shingle in the world this strange land possesses a diverse fauna and flora. and is a National Nature Reserve. In addition to the power station and lighthouse, there is a collection of dwellings, most are wooden weatherboard beach houses, but there are also some houses converted from old railway coaches. .
